First let’s talk about Sex. Let’s talk about making love.

I want to address men in particular. For me great sex is about taking control. Most women love it when the man takes control. First and foremost we have to take control of our own sexuality. What does that mean?

Like everyone, growing up, I had no clue. The subject of sex is one of the most obscure in all societies. The male having no clue is particularly destructive. His orgasm, normally accompanied by an ejaculation, is generally too quick, way out of synch with the female and generally puts an end to it. Understanding and experiencing my sexuality without ejaculation was like a holy grail to me. It allowed me to control my energy, to play with it, to slow down, to finding pleasure everywhere in my body. Most importantly it allowed me to make space for my partner. A space that allowed her to feel at ease, to trust and both of us to expand and explore and experience a truly mindblowing wonderland of sex, pleasure and intimacy.

It begins with what I call “Inner Kung Fu”; to connect with, to sense, experience, activate and channel sexual energy.  Imagine a vibrationally loaded form of what you may know as Chi and Jing in Chinese medicine.

This is not something new or obscure.  It is fundamental to many martial arts, in particular the Chinese sort. In fact, most cultures/spiritual/religious belief systems recognize the practice in some form, but hide it from “commoners” and outsiders. Kept secret not because it’s a sin. Of course not. But because deemed too powerful to trust common folk or your enemies. Well, the secret is no longer; ironically through a mighty effort to hide it. The Chinese Dao is the one major spiritual tradition that has openly spilled its secrets. During the past half century one particular Master of the Dao, Chia and his devotees have produced an extensive public library of teachings on the subject, accessible to anyone. Most interesting of all, while the “science” behind it may be quite complicated, the practice is really simple and best of all, this is not a believe system, something you have to “believe” in. It is an experience anyone can have; and you really should. Who doesn’t want to have better sex. Yet, its experience reaches far beyond sex.

Like anything new and unusual, it may strike you as a little unusual at first. Yet, it comes natural to most, as it should. Trauma and Emotional Healing

Beyond a better understanding of the simple mechanics of sex and our sexual powers, it is important to recognize and deal with trauma related to sexuality. Sexual trauma can be a conditioning of shame or the experience of bad or unfulfilling sex. It can be in the form of heart break, divorce, sexual abuse, even rape and molestation. Trauma has great impact on our (sexual) lives and our ability to fully experience life and our sexuality.  

Beyond specific sexual trauma, chronic and often unconscious states of negative emotions have a significant impact on our lives, our energy, our sleep, our nervous system. Emotional states and patterns are the single most important factor influencing our mental and physical health.
